Our Staff
Comprised of energetic, well trained counselors who have experience working with children, possess exceptional skills in child development, and are committed to creating a supportive and nurturing environment. Our high adult to child ratio insures that each child receives personalized attention so that they can build their confidence in each activity as well as develop important social skills in a group setting.
Camp Director Maria Mata is returning for her eighth year and fourth year as Director. She is currently a 4th grade teacher in the Greenwich Public Schools and has over 15 years teaching experience. She offers a high level of expertise, enthusiasm and commitment that makes Camp Armonk a special place for children.
Registration & Camp Fee
Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Campers must enroll for a full 2-week session. Applications must be accompanied by a $200.00 per week deposit to reserve that session. Deposits are refundable prior to 4/1/10 minus a $150.00 cancellation fee. All cancellations after 4/1/10 are non-refundable.

Explorers
Explorers is designed for children entering nursery school and kindergarten. Each day is a gentle blend of tennis and swim instruction, arts & crafts, age appropriate recreational sports, music, and tenderness. The hours of this camp are 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
An extended day program is available, allowing Explorers to stay till 4pm for only $20 a day. 

Pioneers Program
Our Pioneers program is a for children entering 1st grade. They will enjoy all of the same activities as the Explorers, but with a greater variety of sports and activities. The Pioneers program is from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Activities
Tennis
Tennis is specifically designed to meet the diverse challenges young and advanced beginners encounter. We will introduce all of the fundamental strokes and techniques with which to build a solid foundation. This guarantees the next generation of players will get started in the right way.

Field Sports
Field Sports provides an action-packed lineup of sports and games. Each period consists of age appropriate recreational activities combined with skilled instruction. Skill building helps to improve basic motor skills for greater success in sports. Campers are introduced to soccer, basketball, T-ball, field hockey, football, volleyball, mini-golf, lacrosse, hand ball and more. Team Olympics is a weekly activity where campers compete in various relay races and sports. 
Swimming 

Swimming includes a fun-filled instructional and recreational program. Our Water Safety Director and Instructors are trained to help children enjoy their swimming experience and master the water.
Arts & Crafts / Nature
Arts & Crafts/Nature provides campers an opportunity to experiment with numerous media and creative projects. We also explore nature through walks and discovery.
Music
Music is an integral part of the Camp Armonk experience and campers get a chance to show what they’ve learned at the Camp Shows.
Wednesday Specials
Specials include a variety of shows like scientific demonstrations such as rockets, sound, chemistry and
reptiles. This activity takes place each Wednesday of every session.
Camp Show
The Camp Show is scheduled for the second Friday of each session. This will give parents an opportunity to see all of the masterpieces that were created during arts & crafts and be entertained by their children. Show time will be one half hour prior to dismissal.
